New workshop here at SMART

SMART will be hosting a new workshop in conjunction with a new exhibition at the science museum. The new exhibition, entitled “Nerves” will examine the relationship between science, technology and our bodies through the history of psychology.

We invite you to take part in discussions with the curator and a leading scientist for the exhibition and find out what you think. Two creative workshops will be delivered in partnership with the Science Museum at SMART.

The first workshop will take place on the 23rd September 10.30 – 12 noon

Healthy Kickers News

The healthy kickers group will be cancelled on the 27th of June and will resume on the 4th of July. For information about signing up please talk to Kinga here at SMART.

Life Skills Workshops

We are currently running a series of Life Skills Workshops designed to help people deal  with everyday issues that may be affecting their lives.

  • Overcoming Anxiety
  • Relaxation Techniques
  • Assertiveness Training
  • Confidence Building
  • Healthy Eating and Exercise
  • Overcoming Low Mood
  • How to Get a Good Night’s Sleep

Each workshop is led by a member of SMART staff but also involves group conversations, as people share their experiences and insight. The workshops have only 10 places and  lasts for just a couple of hours long, including a tea break.
